Why it exists
Most online PDF tools upload your file to someone else's server. Contracts, bank statements and ID scans shouldn't need that. Docura runs its engine in your browser tab or on your phone, so there is no upload and nothing to trust.
What it is
A PDF engine written in Rust, compiled to WebAssembly for this website and built natively into the Android app (Kotlin and Jetpack Compose). The tools handle quick jobs; the editor reads, comments, fills, signs and organises.
Open source
Docura is built on PdfCraft by storytold, licensed MIT or Apache-2.0. The editor on this site is PdfCraft's web build, served unchanged with its MIT licence, Apache licence and notice. Many thanks to its authors.
